The 49th NAACP Image Awards takes place on Monday, January 15 -- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's birthday and a national holiday.  There will be no vacation for the Image Awards as the best in film and TV will be congregating in Pasadena, California to celebrate and honor a year of accomplishments on screens big and small.

The Image Awards will be televised live on TV One at 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific on Monday.  Anthony Anderson hosts the telecast, as he has for several consecutive years now.

Below are my predictions of the winners on the film side of the NAACP Image Awards.  Tune in on Monday night.
