So here it is -- 2019.

And it will be gone in a flash.

This is the first of three hundred and sixty-five days.  Over 500 films will be released in the U.S. and Canada this year.  There are many movies to look forward to, most notably the new Jordan Peele horror film "Us", which opens on March 15.

Life may seem like a movie at times but there's no getting away from the reality that movies are an escapable inescapable part of our lives.

There's more to come.  See you at the movies in 2019.
